Detailed Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel. This evening includes a short safari briefing, outlining the journey ahead, followed by a relaxed welcome dinner with local cuisine.

Day 2: Entebbe → Murchison Falls via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Begin your journey north with a drive through Uganda’s scenic countryside. Stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an optional rhino tracking experience—a unique opportunity to see rhinos in their natural habitat, guided by sanctuary rangers. Continue your journey to Murchison Falls National Park, enjoying the landscape of savannahs and rolling hills.

Day 3: Safari & Nile River Cruise at Murchison Falls
Start the day with an early morning game drive, where you may spot elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and lions against the backdrop of the vast savannah. In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic boat cruise along the Nile River to the base of the iconic Murchison Falls, where the Nile narrows and plunges 43 meters. This is a prime opportunity to view hippos, crocodiles, and an abundance of birdlife. Later, hike to the top of the falls for panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Day 4: Murchison Falls → Kibale Forest
Travel south to Kibale Forest, often called the primate capital of the world. The drive passes through scenic rural villages, tea plantations, and crater lakes, giving a glimpse into local Ugandan life. Kibale Forest is home to 13 primate species, including chimpanzees, making it one of the most biodiverse forests in East Africa.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth
Embark on an early morning trek into Kibale Forest to track chimpanzees. Your guide will help locate chimpanzee groups, and you will have the opportunity to observe them feeding, playing, and interacting in their natural environment. After the trek, enjoy lunch and begin the transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Depending on timing, you may have a short game drive en route.

Day 6: Safari & Kazinga Channel Cruise
Spend the morning on a game drive, where the park’s varied habitats host elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and possibly lions. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, renowned for its large concentrations of hippos and crocodiles, as well as hundreds of bird species. This is a wonderful opportunity for photography and wildlife observation.

Day 7: Ishasha Sector & Transfer to Bwindi
Drive to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions. The drive through open savannahs and acacia woodlands offers excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. Afterward, continue to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, the habitat of the mountain gorilla, arriving in time to relax at your lodge.

Day 8: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
Experience one of the world’s most memorable wildlife encounters—tracking mountain gorillas. Spend up to one hour observing gorilla families, including silverbacks, in their natural forest home. The experience is both humbling and unforgettable, offering close encounters with these gentle giants in a misty rainforest setting.

Day 9: Bwindi → Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, depart for Lake Mburo National Park, Uganda’s smallest savannah park, known for its abundant wildlife including zebras, impalas, buffaloes, and a variety of bird species. Arrive in time for an evening game drive to spot nocturnal and early evening wildlife activity.

Day 10: Activities in Lake Mburo
Enjoy a full day exploring Lake Mburo. Choose from a walking safari led by a knowledgeable ranger, a guided cycling safari for a unique perspective of the park, or a game drive to see larger animals. The park’s open landscapes and rolling hills offer excellent opportunities for photography and close wildlife encounters.

Day 11: Lake Mburo → Entebbe & Departure
Drive back to Entebbe, stopping at the Equator for photos and a fun demonstration of the Coriolis effect. Transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight, concluding your unforgettable Ugandan safari adventure.
