Set departure FAQ
What does "guaranteed to run" mean? +
Once a date reaches its minimum traveler count — usually two — Feather Trail Safaris commits to running it. We won't cancel a guaranteed date for low numbers.
Can I travel solo? +
Yes. Join any set departure on your own and either share a twin room with another solo traveler of the same gender, or pay the single supplement listed for that itinerary.
How do I secure my spot? +
A 30% deposit secures your place on a chosen date, with the remaining 70% balance due 1 month before your trip's start date.
What if my preferred date is full? +
We'll offer you the next available date on the same itinerary, a spot on the waitlist, or the option to convert your trip into a private departure on a date of your choosing.
Are park permits included in the price? +
It varies by itinerary — check the price block on each tour above. Permits are limited even after your date is guaranteed, so booking early still matters.
