Day 1: Kampala → Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Buhoma Sector)

• Begin the journey southwest, traveling through lush landscapes, small trading centers, and rolling hills dotted with banana plantations and Ankole cattle.
• Equator Stop: Pause at the Uganda Equator for photos and a brief explanation of its geographical significance.
• Lunch: En route in Mbarara, the largest city in western Uganda.
• Continue through the scenic Kigezi Highlands, often called the “Switzerland of Africa.”
• Arrival in Buhoma: Check in at Ride 4 A Woman, a charming community-run lodge that supports local women through weaving, tailoring, and cultural programs.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Adventure in Bwindi

• Early breakfast, then transfer to the park headquarters for registration and a pre-trek briefing by UWA rangers.
• Trekking: Venture into the dense rainforest, guided by trackers. Expect ancient trees, colorful butterflies, and tropical bird calls.
• Once the gorilla family is located, spend one magical hour observing them — from silverbacks guarding to juveniles playing.
• Return to the lodge for lunch and rest. Optional afternoon community walk (traditional healing plants, banana brewing, or basket weaving).
