Experience the iconic landscapes, abundant wildlife, and unique cultural encounters of Tanzania, from the elephants of Tarangire to the Great Migration in the Serengeti and the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater.
Day 1: Arusha → Tarangire National Park
Depart from Arusha after breakfast and drive through traditional Maasai villages.
Game drive along the Tarangire River, spotting elephants, zebras, antelopes, lions, and leopards.
Picnic lunch by the river and scenic afternoon wildlife drive.
Overnight at EcoScience Centre & Luxury Lodge, designed in Maasai hut style with spectacular views over Radilen Hill.
Day 2: Tarangire → Serengeti National Park
Scenic drive to the Serengeti, passing the misty Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Optional visits:
Oldupai Gorge Museum – the Cradle of Mankind.
Maasai Boma – witness traditional Maasai dance and village life.
Afternoon Serengeti game drive to spot wildlife in their natural habitat.
Overnight at Ole Serai Luxury Camp, Central Seronera, near Moru Kopjes and the Mbalageti River.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park
Sunrise game drive to see predators hunting and hippos returning to water.
Late breakfast followed by a full-day Serengeti exploration, tailored to maximize sightings of the Big Five and the Great Migration herds.
Overnight at Ole Serai Luxury Camp, immersed in the Serengeti wilderness.
Day 4: Serengeti → Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Morning game drive through the Serengeti with opportunities to spot cheetahs, lions, elephants, and wildebeest.
Afternoon drive to the Ngorongoro Crater Rim.
Dinner and overnight at Oldeani Ngorongoro Mountain Lodge, offering panoramic views over the crater and surrounding landscapes.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater → Lake Eyasi
Full-day Ngorongoro Crater safari, home to over 120 mammal species including rhinos, lions, flamingos, hippos, and cheetahs.
Picnic lunch in the crater before continuing to Lake Eyasi.
Meet the Hadzabe bushmen for a traditional hunting demonstration and cultural insight.
Overnight at Lake Eyasi Lodge, with spectacular Rift Valley views.
Day 6: Lake Eyasi → Lake Manyara National Park
Morning with the Hadzabe bushmen to learn survival and hunting skills.
Drive to Lake Manyara National Park, known for tree-climbing lions and diverse birdlife.
Optional cultural visits to Datoga communities along the way.
Overnight at Lake Manyara Kilimamoja Lodge, set on the Rift Valley rim with breathtaking views of the lake and mountains.
Day 7: Lake Manyara → Arusha
Morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, focusing on flamingos, birds of prey, and acacia-covered landscapes.
Return to Arusha in the afternoon for departure.
