Day 1: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park or Tarangire National Park

After breakfast in Arusha, you’ll drive about 2 hours to begin your adventure.

Option 1 – Tarangire National Park: Famous for its massive elephant herds and baobab-studded landscapes. Lions, leopards, zebras, and antelopes are common sightings.
Option 2 – Lake Manyara National Park: Known for tree-climbing lions, vast flamingo flocks, and breathtaking views of the Rift Valley escarpment.

After a full-day game drive, retire to Country Lodge Karatu (FB), surrounded by lush highlands and warm Tanzanian hospitality.

Day 2: Karatu – Serengeti National Park

Take an early breakfast before driving through the scenic Ngorongoro highlands into the endless plains of the Serengeti.

Optional stop at Olduvai Gorge, the Cradle of Mankind.
Optional visit to a Maasai boma to experience culture and traditions.

Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive in the Seronera Valley, famous for year-round wildlife and large predator populations.
Overnight at Thorntree Camp (FB), a solar-powered camp in the heart of Serengeti.

Day 3: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Wake up early for a sunrise game drive – the best time to see predators in action.

Optional hot air balloon safari with champagne breakfast.
Game drives tailored to the wildebeest migration route (depending on the season).
Spot lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, wildebeest, and more.

Dinner and overnight at Thorntree Camp (FB).

Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, enjoy a final Serengeti game drive before heading back towards Ngorongoro.

Spot massive herds of wildebeest and zebras, along with elephants, giraffes, and big cats.
Drive across scenic landscapes and arrive at your lodge on the crater rim.

Overnight at Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge (FB), overlooking the crater and surrounded by forest.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha (Departure)

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site and home to the Big Five.

Spot endangered black rhinos, lions, elephants, and abundant hippos at the famous hippo pool.
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater.

After an unforgettable experience, drive back to Arusha for your onward journey or flight home.
