Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport

Upon your late arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your driver and transferred to your accommodation. The transfer takes approximately 10–15 minutes depending on traffic.

Day 2: Entebbe to Lake Mburo National Park (By Road)

After a relaxed breakfast, later you will depart morning and begin your scenic drive towards Lake Mburo National Park. This journey offers a wonderful introduction to Uganda’s countryside, with views of local villages, rolling hills, and roadside markets. You will have a stop at the Equator crossing for photos and a short break before continuing to the park.
Lake Mburo National Park is known for its beautiful savannah landscape, acacia woodland, and rich wildlife including zebras, impalas, buffaloes, and a variety of bird species. You will enjoy a game drive on this day.

Day 3: Lake Mburo to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

After breakfast, have a morning safari Walk in Lake Mburo National Park. After you will continue your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The drive takes you through changing landscapes, from open savannah to the lush, terraced hills of southwestern Uganda.
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of the most biologically diverse forests in Africa and home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. Upon arrival, check in and relax at your lodge in preparation for the next day’s trek.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi

Early in the morning, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing by the Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers before starting your gorilla trek.The trek can take a few hours depending on the movement of the gorilla family. Once located, you will spend one unforgettable hour observing them, watching their behavior, interactions, and daily routines in their natural habitat.

After the trek, return to the lodge for relaxation and lunch.

Day 5: Bwindi to Kampala / Entebbe for departure  (Scenic Drive)

After an early breakfast, you will begin your return journey to Kampala / Entebbe by road. This drive, offers extensive views of Uganda’s diverse landscapes, local towns, and rural life, an authentic and enriching travel experience.
A stop at the Equator can be arranged (if not done on Day 2), along with en-route breaks for refreshments and optional lunch. You will be dropped off in Kampala at your preferred location for your onward arrangements.
Meals: Breakfast Included (Lunch en route in Mbarara is optional)
Overnight: Not included. End of Trip!

The Gorilla Tracking included in this safari depends on the availability of gorilla trekking permits at the time of booking. These permits are strictly limited and sold out in advance, especially during peak seasons of Christmas and school holidays. We therefore strongly recommend booking early.
