Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by our professional safari guide and transferred to your hotel. This day is for relaxing and recovering from your flight. Overnight at Das Berliner Hotel.
Day 2: Kampala City Tour
After breakfast, explore Uganda’s capital with visits to the Kabaka’s Palace, Gaddafi Mosque, Mengo Palace, Idi Amin’s Garage, craft markets and the National Theatre. A food tour will let you taste authentic Ugandan cuisine. Overnight at Das Berliner Hotel.
Day 3: Kampala – Murchison Falls National Park
Begin your safari journey with a scenic drive north to Murchison Falls National Park. After checking in, enjoy your first evening game drive in search of lions, leopards, hyenas, and elephants. Overnight at Nkundwa Nile Lodge.

Day 4: Game Drive, Boat Safari & Hike to the Falls
Start early with a game drive on the northern bank of the Nile where you may spot giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, elephants, and plenty of birds. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise along the Nile to the base of the falls, home to crocodiles, hippos, and water birds. Finally, hike to the top of Murchison Falls for breathtaking views. Overnight at Nkundwa Nile Lodge.
Day 5: Murchison – Kibale Forest
Drive southwest to Kibale Forest, known as the “Primate Capital of the World.” Along the way, enjoy scenic landscapes and stop for lunch. In the evening, take a guided walk in Bigodi Wetlands to see monkeys, birds, and butterflies. Overnight at Kibale Forest Camp.
Day 6: Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Community Visit
Today, head into Kibale Forest for chimpanzee tracking. Watch them swing through trees, feed, and play in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, visit the Bigodi community to experience local culture and see how conservation supports the locals. Overnight at Enshama Game Lodge.
Day 7: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Full Day Safari
Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park for a full day of game drives. Expect to see elephants, buffaloes, lions, hyenas, and antelopes. Enjoy a picnic breakfast in the wild and return to the lodge for relaxation. Overnight at Enshama Game Lodge.
Day 8: Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel
After breakfast, take a boat safari on the Kazinga Channel, where you’ll see large concentrations of hippos, elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles, and colorful birdlife. You may choose an additional game drive or relax at the lodge in the evening. Overnight at Enshama Game Lodge.
Day 9: Ishasha Sector – Transfer to Bwindi
Drive through the Ishasha sector, famous for its tree-climbing lions. Continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, where you’ll visit the Batwa pygmy community for an enriching cultural experience. Overnight at Bweza Lodge.
Day 10: Gorilla Trekking – Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
This is the highlight of your safari. Begin the day with a briefing before trekking into the misty jungles of Bwindi in search of mountain gorillas. Once you find them, spend an unforgettable hour observing them. Later, transfer to the tranquil Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation. Overnight at Itambira Island Resort.
Day 11: Explore Lake Bunyonyi
Spend the day exploring Uganda’s most beautiful lake. Take a boat or canoe ride, visit the islands, watch birds, and learn the history of the “Punishment Island.” Overnight at Itambira Island Resort.
Day 12: Lake Bunyonyi – Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, drive to Lake Mburo National Park. On arrival, enjoy a relaxing boat cruise where you’ll encounter hippos, crocodiles, and water birds. Zebras and giraffes are often seen near the shore. Overnight at Eagles Nest.
Day 13: Walking Safari – Return to Entebbe
Take a guided walking safari in Lake Mburo to see zebras, impalas, and antelopes up close. Then, head back to Entebbe with a stop at the Equator for photos and a local lunch. Overnight at Das Berliner Hotel.
Day 14: Departure
Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy a relaxed morning before your airport transfer. End of safari.
