6 Days Kenya Fly-In Safari: Samburu & Masai Mara

This luxury safari takes you to two of Kenya’s most iconic reserves: Samburu National Reserve and the world-famous Masai Mara. Experience thrilling game drives, breathtaking scenery, luxury tented camps, and a special sundowner in the wild.

Day 1: Nairobi  Samburu National Reserve

Transfer to Wilson Airport for your morning flight to Buffalo Springs. On arrival, you will be met by our driver guide and transferred to Ashnil Samburu Camp. After lunch and relaxation, embark on your first afternoon game drive in Samburu—home to unique species such as Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, and the Somali ostrich.

Day 2: Samburu Game Drives

Enjoy a full day exploring Samburu. Begin with a morning game drive to catch predators in action. Return to camp for breakfast and relaxation by the pool or terrace overlooking the Ewaso Nyiro River. After lunch, set out again for an afternoon game drive, tracking elephants, big cats, and Samburu’s rare “Special Five.”

Day 3: Samburu  Masai Mara

After a morning game drive, transfer to Buffalo Springs Airstrip for your flight to the legendary Masai Mara. Upon landing at Ol Kiombo Airstrip, transfer to Ashnil Mara Camp. After settling in, head out for an afternoon game drive across the rolling plains of the Mara, home to lions, leopards, cheetahs, and vast herds of wildebeest and zebra.

Day 4: Masai Mara Safari

Begin your day with a sunrise game drive, one of the best times to see predators hunting. Return for breakfast and relaxation at the camp. In the afternoon, set out for another game drive through the Mara’s iconic savannahs. Optional hot air balloon safari available on request.

Overnight: Ashnil Mara Camp (Full Board + All-Inclusive Drinks)

Day 5: Masai Mara Safari & Sundowner

Spend another full day in the Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. In the evening, enjoy a special sundowner cocktail experience in the bush as you watch the African sun dip below the horizon—a magical ending to your safari day.

Overnight: Ashnil Mara Camp (Full Board + All-Inclusive Drinks)

Day 6: Masai Mara  Nairobi

After breakfast and a short game drive, transfer to Ol Kiombo Airstrip for your morning flight back to Wilson Airport, Nairobi. Connect to your onward journey or transfer to your hotel.
